You cannot teach something that you know nothing about. You cannot convince someone of the truth of Jesus' Gospel if you do not know and accept that truth yourself. You cannot speak for Jesus if you do not know Jesus. And you do not truly know Jesus if you do not keep His commandments. You cannot know and keep His commandments if you do not know and understand His Gospel.
His mercy endures forever.
My strength and my courage is the LORD
This is the day the LORD has made;
let us be glad and rejoice in it.
"I am the resurrection and the life;
whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live,
and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.
Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so no one may boast." Eph 2:4-10
The law of the LORD is perfect,
refreshing the soul;
The decree of the LORD is trustworthy,
giving wisdom to the simple.
Lord, you have the words of everlasting life.
And concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God, I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” Mt 22:31-32

Our God says:
"It is I, I, who wipe out,
for my own sake, your offenses;
your sins I remember no more." Isaiah 43:24-25
"I turn to you, Lord, in time of trouble, and you fill me with the joy of salvation." Ps 32:1-2, 5, 11
